Door Seal (Rubber Beading)

Door seal (also called door gasket, weather strip, door bottom, or door sweep) is a strip or system installed around the edges (sides, top, bottom) of a door (or between the door and threshold) to seal gaps between the door and the frame or floor. Its main purpose is to block unwanted transfer of air, moisture, dust, sound, pests, or fire/smoke — depending on the application. In short: a door seal is the barrier that ensures a door is not “leaky.”
